This page is a sub-page of the Official LOTRmod Server Player wiki and concerns itself with all things High-Elven.

High-Elven Kingdom Header Poster - wiki edition

This page is very Role-Play Adapted.

We High-Elves have our own Discord Server for easy communication, events (such as the Mallorn Party) and Tips and stuff. Please read the recruitment process, the High-Elven laws, and the FAQ before considering to join the High-Elves.

We High-Elves have our own Creative, PVP and Renewed servers. You gain access to the Creative server once you become a citizen of the Kingdom. Access to the Renewed server can be granted when you become a recruit and All friends of the Kingdom are welcome on the PVP server, you just have to ask.

Please help us keep them up and running :D

Introduction A High-Elf, or Tarelda in Quenya, is an elf who either lives in Valinor or is decended from an elf who has lived there at some point. Thus all High-Elves of Middle-Earth are of either Vanyarin or Noldorin descent, since no other kin of the elves have ever lived in Valinor and the Falmari never came back to Middle-Earth, though some High-Elves are of Falmarin descent through marriage to the Noldor or the Vanyar. Of course the High-Elves that actually stayed in Middle-Earth after the great war, in which Beleriand was sunk, later intermingled with the elves here so that there in fact existed some High-Elves with Sindarin or Silvan blood too.

You as an elf you are free to choose your own heritage :). Except you are not allowed to claim kinship to the well known elven characters of the Lord of the Rings and such, nor to claim that you in fact "are" one of them. Here on the Server we make our own History! Scroll down to "Choosing your own heritage" to choose your's.

Also: The King/Queen is the only one who can give out titles. Unless they have other arrangements with their lords.

The official language of the Elves of Middle-Earth has been Sindarin ever since King Thingol of Doriath banned Quenya in the first age. But the High-Elves have never abandoned the ancient language and have always used it as a ceremonial language, thus it has been kept alive. In recent years the 2nd High King of the High-Elves reinstated Quenya as the main language of the High-Elves, keeping Sindarin as a means to talk with the Wood-Elves (Silvan) and Sindar of Mirkwood and of Lothlóriën.

Joining the High-Elves, the Recruitment Process:

If you are an elf in your heart, if you are loyal, true and trustworthy, if you love the beauty of nature and if you think that the elves really are your cup of Miruvor, you are welcome into our ranks! Only request to join us if you want to truly be part of and contribute in a community, as we are a very Community-focused faction, almost like a big happy family.

By joining the High-Elves you swear to uphold our code of conduct, the High-Elven Laws.

You have to get the attention of one of the High-Elven Lords and request to join. They usually use these titles: "Heru/Heri Noldoro", "Cáno Noldoro" or "Arquen", so they should be easy to spot. You should also get 10 alignment with the high-elves for the recruit-title, which you get from killing Gundabad, Angmar, Dol Guldur, Isengard, Mordor, Rhúdel, Near Harad or Half-Trolls in the High-Elven areas of influence (check in-game), or doing quests with the elves of Lindon or elves of Rivendell. Read the Recruitment process for more info.

Recruitment process:

  1. You should try to earn 100 High-Elven alignment to unlock our titles for when you are accepted. And while you are a recruit, ONLY USE the "High Elf Guest" title in "Dark Aqua" color.
  2. You need to read the High-Elven Laws, the Code of Conduct, and the server rules of course. And reading how to join wouldn't hurt either ofc, and seeing as you're reading this, Good job! :p.
  3. You get the attention of one of the Nurmáhani or Tarmáhani, the High-Elven Lords, so that they can add you to the recruitlist and the Winyamor-( recruit-)Fellowship.
  4. You need to be accepted by the Lords in order to become a citizen of the High-Elven Kingdom.

We want to be SURE about you before we accept you. We will have to get to know you, as a player; what you build, how you build, how you interact with other players and how you play in general. You will be undergo various evaluations during your time as a recruit, you might be asked to answer questions, build something and collect items among other things.

During your Evaluations/your time as a recruit, you must also get familiar with the various Kingdom Builds of the High-Elves and their Lords. It is a good idea to tour as many of them as possible, as you will be assigned to one of them in the future. If the Lord or the citizens of the build you want to tour are not online, any Nurmahan or higher rank should be able to tour you as well.

When getting assigned to a Kingdom Build your wishes will be taken into account ;).

[OPTIONAL] You can now choose your character's heritage, which you are free to choose as you may (as long as you follow the rules concerning this). Meaning, you create the history behind your character, you choose what race of elves your ancestors were, and in that way, what elven race your character is. But keep in mind, your character must have at least some Vanyarin or Noldorin blood, else it would not be a high-elf. Once that is done (its completely optional btw, it just enhances RolePlay :D) you can add that info on this wiki, under players, under your own name. (scroll down to "Choosing your own heritage" for more information) [OPTIONAL]

You are now fully a High-Elf!

Mod-Titles used by the High-Elves:

You, once you are accepted as a High-Elf, you can choose to live in which ever High-Elven region that you wish. But you are then STRONGLY advised to use the appropriate title and color for that title. Going completely against this can result in punishment.

The titles that the High-Elven Kingdom uses are: "Heru/Heri Noldoro", "Cáno Noldoro", "Arquen", "Hesto", "Tercáno", "Eregion", "Forlindon", "Harlindon", "High Elf", "Lindon", "Mithlond", "Noldor", "Rivendell", "Imladris", "Sindar", "Grey-elf", "Mahtar", "High Elf Friend" & "High Elf Guest" . Government

The High-Elves are primarily ruled by the High King/Queen, currently Dragonearth. The Council acts as the ruler's advisors and representatives.

When the Ruler is unavailable, the council members hold the authority to govern the faction in their absence. They act out his/her will, help out new elves in their struggle to survive and also handle foreign affairs to the extent of their abilities. As the most renowned and respected elves of the faction they have been chosen to help govern the High-Elves. The council also increases the opportunities for others to be able to contact the government of the high-elves, as the different members are reachable on different hours of the day.

The Council consists of 7 members, plus a few "Council Elders" that are technically part of the Council, but are not core-members and do not have any voting powers, both of these are tho still referred to as the Armáhani(Noble-Authorities):

Core Council Members:

  • SinzPet, Advisor
  • Hayoo
  • Capt9Captain
  • DerpyMacDerpFace
  • Overlordess
  • dragonearth, High King
  • WibblyWolf

Council Elders:

  • Vaclav999

The Tarmáhani( High-Authorities):

The Tarmáhani are the higher Lords and Ladies. They are trusted and valued members of the High-Elven Kingdom and help with some of the goverment issues. The Armáhani are chosen from these elves.

  • SildarFlame
  • Mithlond
  • Awesome2718

The Nurmáhani( Lesser-Authorities):

The Nurmáhani are the lesser Lords and Ladies, they help out with managing new recruits, making sure that the others know which players want to join, and smaller government issues. The Tarmáhani are chosen from among these elves.

Council History:

The 2nd king of the High-Elves, SinzPet, upon his rise to the throne created a council consisting of the most prestigious elves of the faction. The council acts as the ruler's advisors and representatives.

Since 2016-05-08, 8th of May, the Armáhani can be interchanged with the Tarmáhani if the need arises. For example if one of the Council members goes on a long vacation or inactivity of sorts, then a Tarmahan could be swapped with the Armahan and be made council member. Either for a short time, or permanently. The Armáhani can also choose to swap places with a Tarmahan if they should want to, altho the High King can revert the swap if he does not approve.

The 1st Princess of the High-Elves, and heir to the throne, was announced to be LibertyMom, on 2017-06-28.

2017-08-21, the council introduced the Council Elder system, where Long-time council members can be made into Elders without any voting powers, but still technically part of the council, to make room for new council members. And with this Sartavaryon, Carnifindion & Quipp were made Council members while Hayoo, Overlordess & vaclav999 were made Elders.

2018-02-10, LibertyMom became the 1st High Queen, 3rd Queen & 3rd Ruler of the High-Elven Kingdom.

If you ever want to contact the king or a specific region or a specific elf, talking to the council members is your best shot. But keep in mind that they might not always be reachable, they might be too busy, so don't be too hard on them if they can't help you right away.

2019-09-03, DerpyMacDerpFace officially became the Prince and heir to the Throne of the Kingdom of the High-Elves. Having also been named as such a few weeks before at the IRL meet-up of 2019.

2019-12-07, DerpyMacDerpFace became the 3rd High King, 4th King & Ruler of the High-Elven Kingdom. On 8/5/2020, the second Princess was Dragonearth.

2020-05-17, Dragonearth became the 4th High King, 5th King & Ruler of the High-Elven Kingdom.

Current and Past Rulers:

1st High King of the High-Elves Glaerdir: Glaerdir, formerly Coolseb1000, was an exceptional king of the High-Elves. He did much good for the faction and acomplished much. He was also an exceptional warrior, fearless in the face of death.

One of his many feats was establishing lasting relations with Rohan and Dunland (back when b_boymasterman( 2nd King of Gondor) was co-ruler of Rohan and Evil_Mogwai ruled all of Dunland), whom he also managed to to calm down when war was at hand. The relationship with Arantoer_II, formerly b_boymasterman, remained intact when the 2nd king of the High-Elves was crowned, and through Arantoer an ever-lasting friendship with Gondor was built. All thanks to the great Glaerdir.

Glaerdir was married to BlueTheTrixter, sister of the 2nd king of the woodland realm, Faelon, making her a widdow when he mysteriously disappeared.

Another amazing feat of the king was his builds. He built Mithlond after buying the land off of SinzPet, Lord of Arataurë back then. The tower, the haven and the Palace where truly a beautiful sight to behold! The city was regrettably later pillaged and destroyed by an elf-imposter. But he also built the foundation of the fortress of Forlindon, before his mysterious disappearance.

Passage between the 1st and 2nd King: The story of how SinzPet became the 2nd High King of the High-Elves (Quenta Neuron: The Tale of the Successor)

The King of Lindon, Glaerdir (MG, coolseb1000), marched with his loyal lords and allied men of Gondor towards Mordor for one last battle to cleanse Middle-Earth from its filth, where they met their armies at the border of the black land. The battle took days, and every day they lost many, with bodies piling up at both sides of the battlefield. And as victory seemed within reach of the kings of men and elves something happened that brought a great confusion upon the battlefield:

Men and elves and orcs suddenly found themselves intermingled and no one knew north from south. And it was in the midst this chaos of battle that King Glaerdir went mysteriously missing and was nowhere to be found. After ending the battle with the retreat of the orcs, the elves and the men of Gondor searched for what felt like ages.

Glaerdir was not found and was presumed dead, lost between mud and blood of fallen friends and foes. The brother of the king, Internet_Miners, Lord of Fangorn, who still grieving for his brother felt that he could not abandon his beloved people in the woods and thus passed on the Kingship to the Steward of the king, SinzPet, who, with grief still gnawing at his heart, accepted the throne. Thus becoming the 2nd High King of the High-Elves.

2nd High King of the High-Elves SinzPet: SinzPet has since his rise to the throne implemented some major changes to the faction. One of the most notable ones being the reintroducing of Quenya as the main language of the High Elves. And another being the founding of the Council of the High Elves (Read more further down on the page). He has also united the High-Elves more than was previously possible, as he implememnted a new communication system for his race.

This king is known for his wisdom, his organization skills, his vision, and his passion for his faction. He also genuinely cares for and loves each and every one of his faction members, All of these things make him a great and respected ruler.

He became High King on the 12th of February 2015, and has since ruled, shaped and brought his faction to never before seen levels of Glory. The faction became organized like no other and building boomed. SinzPet's rule can certainly be described as the age of advancement.

3rd Queen and Ruler of the High-Elves, 1st High Queen LibertyMom: LibertyMom is a High-Elf that joined the Kingdom only 3 months after SinzPet first became King, a truly old High-Elf. Since she joined, she has been nothing but loved by all whom she met, and she earned the favour of many powerful elves. It did not take her long to climb to the ranks of Nurmahan and beyond. Eventually she was a member of the High-Elven Council, where she has worked tirelessly for the bettering and wellbeing of her people. Always generous and fun-loving, and an insane amount of High-Elven Alignment of over 100 000 all make LibertyMom a truly exceptional High-Elf.

LibertyMom is known to be one of the most friendly and generous elves to ever walk on Arda as well as her love for her people.

She became High Queen on the 10th of February 2018 after having officially been the heir to the throne for half a year.

In the beginning of summer 2018 she also became a server moderator, helping the admins to keep an eye on the server. And eventually also became full Admin that same year.

Towards the end of november, start of december 2019, after having served as Queen splendidly for nearly 2 years, she decided to step down as Queen and make her heir DerpyMacDerpFace King instead. She was a Queen who had taken a lot of shit during her time as Queen, but she was very beloved by the entire faction at least and will be sorely missed.

4th King and Ruler of the High-Elves, 3rd High King DerpyMacDerpFace: DerpyMacDerpFace is the first High-Elf ever accepted IRL, at a meet-up in Amsterdam. Since he joined, he continued to offer his help with extreme generosity wherever a high-elf needed elf. He continued to show great loyalty and maturity at all times and quickly rose through the ranks.

He became High King on the 7th of December 2019 after having been the heir to the throne for 3 months. He has decided an heir and that is Princess Dragonearth.

5th King and Ruler of the High-Elves, 4th High King of the High-Elven Kingdom Dragonearth: Dragonearth rose to the throne on the 17th of May 2020, in a time of civil unrest. With his diplomatic skills he managed to calm the waters a bit, giving the faction some slack to celebrate his coronation on the 30th of May. His insight and kindness have been valued among the faction and he is to rule as a fair and just king. He will concentrade on the grow and improvement of our faction, and to make sure our builds will flourish.

Diplomacy

Here you will be able to find everything about the politics and foreign affairs of the High-Elves, the diplomacy if you will. The high-elves are eternal combatants against evil in Middle-Earth, and as such are allied with most other factions who fight against evil. Some alliances are informal and some are formalized and put into a contract. You will also find our rules and guidelines here.

Code of conduct:

The code of conduct is a set of rules( Laws) which all High-Elves must follow. These are the laws of the High-Elves:

  • §1 When accepting High-Elven citizenship you swear absolute loyalty to the High-Elves and to follow these High-Elven laws.
  • §2 The rules of the server must of course always be followed. This is especially important for us High-Elves! We are the purest beings in Middle-Earth. It should go against your very core to break the rules.
  • §3 When choosing your heritage: High-Elves are not allowed to claim that they are related to the characters of LOTR and such, nor to claim that they "are" the characters themselves. We are also not allowed to claim that we have died once and then returned to life. Most High-Elves have Noldorin blood, but could potentially also have Vanyarin or Falmarin blood. Falmarin blood would be very rare. Sindarin and Silvan blood could also be present, as many High-Elves had kids with them. Read more about this under "Choosing your heritage!" further down.
  • §4 Treason is devided into 6 categories, committing treason is often among the worst things you can do:
    • §4.1 High treason is any form of trying to overthrow the King and/or Council. This could be in the forms of aiding enemies (in any way), getting support for the enemy, stirring any foreigner to invade, mounting a rebellion or helping the enemy of our allies.
    • §4.2 Petty Treason is any form of griefing your fellow High-Elves’ builds, killing one of your fellow High-Elves or “Backstabbing” them, in a trade, or in battle, setting them up to be killed etc.
    • §4.3 Insubordination is any form of disobedience towards a higher ranking High-Elf. Of course if the order is terrible and it was the right choice to refuse the order, the defendant can plead such a case and the council can reach a decision as to whether the order was reasonable or not.
    • §4.4 Espionage. When accepting High-Elven citizenship you swear loyalty to the High-Elves & to never reveal our secrets. This includes revealing the locations of our hidden builds. Divulging High-Elven secrets/Spying on us is one of the most severe crimes. If you join another faction, this law is still active! Tell anyone, any of our secrets, and you will be punished. We have extradition agreements with many factions.
    • §4.5 Misprision of treason is knowing of the crime of treason, yet not reporting it, or perhaps even hiding the crime. An example would be; if a High-Elf was to find out about a rebellion and not say anything, even if they don't actually get involved in the rebellion themselves. Another would be; if a banished High-Elf was harboured by an existing High-Elf.
    • §4.6 Sedition is inciting civil unrest, insurrection or undermining the King/council. An example would be; if someone was to talk about or try to break up the Kingdom into any number of smaller principalities/factions/kingdoms. Another would be; if someone spread propaganda, lies or rumors hurtful to the King/council and/or the system of the kingdom.
  • §5 We High-Elves dont attack any allies, or members of enemy factions we have a truce with, be they Hired Units or players, nor do we steal from them or grief them (IN ANY WAY). Killing allied players (especially other High-Elves) is one of the most severe crimes that a High-Elf can commit. Killing the any faction's mod-NPCs is of course fine.
    • §5.1 We High-Elves DO NOT kill noobs (new players), even when the server rules state that it is legal. We know that it is wrong to ruin their experience of this server. We can kill new players who kill many other new players however, as they are then considered noob-killers.
    • §5.2 High-Elves that engage in the activities of "violent guilds", that kill people for sport or profit are to be out-lawed.
  • §6 We High-Elves are not excessively rude towards our allies or members of enemy factions we have a truce with. We should in fact try to never be rude to any of them, even if they are rude towards us. High-Elves should always be polite and friendly. This law exists to protect our image, we can't have elves making us all look bad because of bad behavior.
    • §6.1 If you have a problem with ANY allied player or any member of an enemy faction we have a truce with, bring it to the attention of higher-ups (in our faction), they will then inform the leaders of that player's faction of the "conduct unbecoming" in question. Action will then be taken and judgement passed by them and the High-Elven Council, not by you. You DO NOT take the law into your own hands.
    • §6.2 All High-Elves must honor the rules and guidelines laid out by the alliance contracts and Truce contracts with other factions.
  • §7 When receiving political guests in elven territory, all high-elves must be on their best behavior. Badmouthing, cursing, mocking, making fun of, and threatening these guests is punishable in this situation.
  • §8 Chain of command is important. High-Elves must always obey the orders of those higher up in our chain of command, as long as those orders dont break any High-Elven laws. And High-Elves cannot act above their authority, for example; an elf cannot declare war on another faction, only the council members can do this.
  • §9 It is forbidden to build in the area around the capital, Mithlond, unless the Ruler or the Council have given you permission. Same goes for any other well established build; you cannot build near (500 blocks is still considered near) the area without the main owner's permission.
    • §9.1 High-Elves are not allowed to live inside of enemy lands, making small outposts and structures for hunting and stuff is however perfectly legal.
    • §9.2 High-Elves are not allowed to start new cities without the permission of the High-Elven Council.
    • §9.3 In or near builds close to WayPoints, or on/near roads, High-Elves need to build in a High-Elven design.
  • §10 It is the responsibility of the Lord/Lady of a High-Elven Kingdom build to inform the members of the build that his/her build is in fact a Kingdom build, and what that means.
    • §10.1 Recruits are not allowed to live in a Kingdom Build as long as they are still recruits. They can either live in the recruitment camp or set up some shack where ever they like (as long as not breaking §9)
    • §10.2 All Nurmáhani, be it individually or preferably the Nurmahaani fellowship, have to be on the gate-banners of all Kingdom Builds.
    • §10.3: All Kingdom Build Fellowships have to be lead be either Dragonearth (the Ruler), SinzPet (the Advisor) or MevansBrother (the Elder) (or one of their alts).
    • §10.4: All Kingdom Builds have to be bannered by either dragonearth (the Ruler), SinzPet (the Advisor) or MevansBrother (the Elder).
  • §11 Recruits will be assigned to live in and be part of a Kingdom Build upon acceptance into the Kingdom. There they, as high-elves, need to actively contribute to the build’s growth. Be it by actually building, or planning, or collecting materials for the build or anything else that helps the build.
    • §11.1 This is not to say that the player cannot work on other cities. Everyone can work on any of the Kingdom Builds. The one that the player is assigned to is the one they must work on the most though.
  • §12 High-Elves DO NOT ask or beg for handouts, we are proud! But of course, if it is given to us, we do not reject gifts, that would be rude, but we do not beg for handouts. If you need food, kill an animal or go farm some crops. If you need wood or stone, go chop it down/mine it, respectively. And if you chop down trees, replant them, per the rule of not destroying nature. If you want armor or weapons, go mine some iron ores yourself and then smelt them into the desired ingot and craft your armor.
  • §13 Multi-citizenship in all its forms is prohibited in the High-Elven Faction, except for a few special exceptions that the council make.
    • §13.1 One exception to this rule is of course citizens of the High-Elves' Vassal-factions, which are allowed to be part of the Vassal-faction as well as the main faction.
    • §13.2 If any High-Elf has dual-citizenship, as one of the previously mentioned exceptions, they can only advance in the ranks of one of the factions they're in. Meaning, if they are Nurmahan or higher in our faction, they cannot advance in ranks in any other faction. And the same way the other way around. If they are, for example, some type of Lord in another faction (have advanced in their ranks), they cannot be or become Nurmahan or higher rank in our faction.
  • §14 All Nurmáhani or higher rank need to have Discord.

Disregard these laws and you will be punished to the extent of your crime. You may be put on probation, or you may even lose your High-Elven citizenship (these are just examples). If u have a (seriously) questionable past or have broken one of the laws u may be put on probation, that means that if you break any laws, the extent of your punishment will be much more severe. If you (Eru forbid) are labled a traitor to the High-Elves( by divulging secrets for example), you will be hunted to the ends of Middle-Earth.

Chain of Command:

At the top of the hierarchy of the High-Elves is the High King. Next are the ex-King and all the other Lords/Ladies of the Council, the Armáhani. After that come the rest of the higher Lords/Ladies, the Tarmáhani. And finally the lesser Lords/Ladies, the Nurmáhani. There may also exist additional hierachies inside cities or other builds. The Tarmáhani and Nurmáhani do not however have any more authority in the builds of other build-Lords then the build-Lords themselves.

Ambassadors

The High-Elves have quite a few Armentari( Ambassadors) in foreign lands. They Keep track of things in their various lands that they are assigned to and report back, and they represent the High-Elves in those lands.

Here are the High-Elven Ambassadors in foreign Realms:

  • Ambassador to the Orocarni: _Cindar_
  • Ambassador to the Wind Dwarves: DerpyMacDerpFace
  • Ambassador to Arnor: Mithlond

Wars, events and stuff:

Wars, events and other matters like this will only be discussed in our private Discord Server, as they are happening and being planned. They are only added here once they are over, they will then be listed in the "Lore of the Tareldar" section.

Events:

The High-Elven Kingdom participates in a few events from time to time, one of the most notable ones and one that has been around for the longest time is the Mallorn Party.

Mallorn Party:

The Mallorn Party is a party where all the elves that are members of the factions that make up the Mallorn Council come together is a monthly celebration to form greater bonds and to have fun with eachother. It is the Server's longest recurring multi-faction event. Each Mallorn Party also has a Mallorn Competition, where a Mallorn Champion is decided. Read more about it on the Mallorn Council Page, where the records of the Parties are kept. (The High-Elven Kingdom does not allow their recruits to attend, only full members)

Tareldar Games: (No longer an active event)

This is an event where the members of the High-Elven Kingdom (including recruits this time) will come together to have some sort of games/activities together to increase our bonds of friendship, teamwork and to just have fun together. It can be pretty much anything and anyone can hold them if they want to. Otherwise whoever can, will hold them, doesn't really matter too much. Its about having fun together as a faction. And because of timezones, we understand that a lot of people have difficulties making certain event-times and such. Which is why these games will be hold 2 times each month. The 2nd and 4th saturdays of every month, at 9AM England time on the 2nd saturday and at 9PM England time on the 4th saturday, each month. And both times during one month it will be the same activity during the event.

So that noone misses a Game.

Builds and Regions

There are two kinds of builds in the Kingdom of the High-Elves:

  • Player builds are structures and settlements owned and developed by individual members, in locations such as Elenost, Edhelion, and Yonwarost.
  • Kingdom builds are forts and cities owned by the Kingdom of the High-Elves but delegated to members as lordships to watch over and develop the build, such as at Mithlond, Forlond, and Lóminost.

The lands of the Kingdom of the High-Elves are:

High-Elven Lands - with WPs - 2017-02-10

Lindon:

Lindon is devided into three regions.

Lindon, 3 regions - Hayoo v2

Enedlindon:

Enedlindon is the (Sindarin) name of the most central region of Lindon ("middle-Lindon"), the region around Mithlond. This region is the smallest of the three. It is bordered by Eriador in the east and by the Ered Luin in the north and south

Mithlond (Kingdom Build) - The Capital of the High-Elves, located at the Gulf of Lhûn (Lune). OculosMortis (formerly: BMBIHNTR) was the founder (after it was destroyted the first time) and main builder of the city. The city is located near the corresponding fast travel point in the center of Lindon. Mithlond is considered the centre of High-Elven affairs, and as such contains important buildings and stuff; like a portal to the overworld, a huge arena for training PVP-skills and many other things.

Vinyamar - A district of Mithlond, this district is ruled by Hayoo. This district, according to the legend came into existance when some surviving Noldorin elves of the 1st age decided to rebuild a smaller version of the city Vinyamar, first city of the Noldor in Middle-Earth. It later became a suburb of Mithlond due to its close proximity of the city and the inhabitants originally being from Mithlond. Vinyamar means "new-home".

Elenost - The "Star-Castle", Fortress of the 2nd High King of the High-Elves SinzPet and his ex-wife, the Queen, Valetty. Somewhere in the great forest surrounding the capital lies the great star-fortress of the king. Only a privileged few have ever seen it.

Arataurë - A great forest surrounding Mithlond and the adjacent areas. The forest used to only cover a relatively small region near Mithlond but has since grown and spread tremendously, now its size is unknown. Arataurë is the domain of SinzPet and Valetty, those two lived here before Mithlond was even built. King Glaerdir bought some of their land close to the entrance of the forest in order to build his capital and in the process Arataurë became an official name of the forest in its infancy. Arataurë is Quenya and roughly means "noble-wood".

Luinelondë (Kingdom Build) - The High-Elven Harbor at the Northern Mithlond WP. Named the "Blue-Haven" because of its proximity to the Blue Mountains.

Camp of the Winyamor (Kingdom Build) - A huge camp only for the Winyamor, the high-elven recruits, the people who are in the process of becoming High-Elves. It is Located in Mithlond, in what is called the Winyamo district.

The fort is located right in the middle of the bridge.

Forlindon:

Forlindon is the (Sindarin) name for northern Lindon (quite a large region).

Arta Minyortala Eleno, "Minyortala" (Kingdom Build) - A fortress at the location where the Forlindon waypoint used to be, being built mainly by vaclav999. The foundation of the fortress and its' original plans were created by the first High King of the High-Elves Glaerdir before his mysterious dissappearance. The name means the "Fortress of the First-Rising Star", the fortress is thus sometimes just called "Minyortala", "first-rising". Unfortunately, it was deleted in the reset and is being built again from scratch by vaclav999.

Mardalcar (Kingdom Build) - A city on the southern shores of Forlindon. Founded by Caliaclaro( formerly: F4M3xFTW). The name of the city is in Quenya, and means "halls of glory". It is currently ruled by ZorviaGames and being built by him.

Now it is the site of the Ruler's Palace. Currently it is being built by DerpyMacDerpFace.

Andulond (Kingdom Build) - The port-city of Andulond was founded by Hayoo, and built and ruled by the 2nd Lord of Andulond, Mithlond. The name of the city means "West-Haven". Every allied Kingdom has their own consultate building in this vast city. Andulond was the first High Elven City to pay a salary, from the city treasure, to members of the city. The people of allied Kingdoms can come live in this city, as summer-homes or what ever they choose, under certain criteria. In order for an allied player to be able to live in Andulond, they need a High-Elven Visa (in the form of a written book) from the City-Lord.

Laurenost (Kingdom Build) - Laurenost means the "golden city", and refers to the color of the golden beeches that grow abundandly throughout the city. The city was founded by Hayoo, who upon his travels discovered and fell in love with the beautiful scenery. This city, with its many towers is very unique among the builds of the High-Elves; its towers are all named after the High-Elves who have visited the city, and they will continue to be named in this wonderous fashion until it doesn't have any more towers to be named.

Hlónost - Built and ruled by Radfable. The name of this city means "river-city".

Amon Ereb - new unnamed build at the new Amon Ereb WP.

Ombinassë - Built and ruled by MrHobbit1234. This city's name Ombinassë comes from the Quenya translation City of the Hills named for all the hills nearby. It is being built by MrHobbit1234 and some of his irl friends.

The city is located near the corresponding fast travel point in Rivendell, east of the Trollshaws. The 2nd Lord of Rivendell was Velenne, moslty known for his great Terraforming skills which he applied to Rivendell as well. The 3rd Lord of Rivendell was CountSVZ and currently does not have one.

The Ford of Bruinen Outpost (Kingdom Build) - An outpost of rivendell near the Ford of Bruinen WayPoint.

Ost-in-edhil (Kingdom Build) - The lost Noldorin kingdom of Eregion, was first rebuilt by stevethebuffalo with cpt_butterpants. They left the High-Elves to start their own faction, thus leaving Ost-in-edhil in ruins. After some time without a high-elven lord to build the city, there came a new one; CelebrimborII. But he too shortly left Eregion, thus leaving Ost-in-Edhil in ruins yet again. The city got a new High-Elven Lord once again, Samaranth00, who pledged himself to rebuild the city for the good of the Kingdom once more. After Samaranth00 announced his departure to Valinor, his Hildo Ercassenoro (Heir of Eregion), DaGamer9901, took over as Lord of Eregion and Lord of Ost-in-Edhil.

Erunamo took over as Lord of Eregion and Lord of Ost-in-Edhil after DaGamer9901 left High-Elven Lands.

Sartavaryon was the next Lord of Eregion and 6th Lord of Ost-in-Edhil.

DerpyMacDerpFace took over after Sartavaryon and became the 7th Lord of Ost-in-Edhil & Lord of Eregion.

Currently Ost-in-Edhil is ruled by its 8th Lady of Ost-in-Edhil & Lady of Eregion WibblyWolf.

Ost-in-Edhil-House

This picture shows an area being built in Ost-in-Edhil at the moment.

Ost-in-Edhil consists of a castle connected with a bridge to a walled city. This city will have lower class housing, noble class housing, shops, a market, the Halls of the Mirdain, a lot of nature and many more things. A road will lead to the ruins of Elder Ost-in-Edhil.

The Western Islands:

Tol Fuin

Tol Fuin is an island which used to be devided in half between the High-Elves and the Herenyarin Elves. The High-Elves owned the Eastern side while the Herenyar owned the Western side. From the Fast Travel Point on Tol Fuin issues a long road towards the west, thus connecting the western side of the island to the Fast Travel Point. The High-Elves later reclaimed their western side and currently rule the whole island again.

Lóminost (Kingdom Build) - A city overlooking the Fast Travel Point on Tol Fuin. The name means "City of the Night". Founded by Hayoo, at one time ruled by HolyChickenWar, later by Erurehto and currently by Dragonearth.

Tol Morwen

A High-Elven Island, first under the (ex) High-Elven Tarmahan Afghan_kidd, but then he left the faction to form his own. He became the first King of the Herenyar, and bought Tol Morwen from the High-Elves. The High-Elves have since reclaimed the island after the November 2015 world-reset, where the old builds where lost.

When arriving at the waypoint, players will find a road network connecting Laiquanost, The Farms of the High-Elves, The Stone of The Hapless, and WinterCoop's Chieftain Hut.

Laiquanost (Kingdom Build) - Formerly named Barad Morwen. The High-Elven farming-city used to be situated around the Tower "Barad Morwen" near the WayPoint. The Founder of the city was Hayoo Ciryatur. The Ruler of this Farming-City was Orthoran, 1st Lord of Barad Morwen. After Orthoran stepped down from the server, Barad Morwen was torn down to be rebuilt by Quipp. After Barad Morwen was torn down, the city was rebuilt as the walled city of Laiquanost where it originally stood. The city is currently completed and work is beginning on a large castle keep to be located outside the walls and connected to the city by a large bridge. The ruler of this city and island was Quipp, 2nd Lord of Laiquanost, followed by the 3rd, MatthewW.

Himling

Himling was also sold to the Herenyar at the same time Morwen was sold. The High-Elves have since reclaimed the island after the November 2015 world-reset, where the old builds where lost.

Rilmanost (Kingdom Build) - Rilmanost was the mount-breeding and fishing city of the Kingdom. The founder of the city was Hayoo. Rilmanost was originally called Barad Himling. It was close to the Himling waypoint and was ruled by Livski, 1st Lady of Rilmanost. After Livski went inactive, MeowKitty12 was named lady of the island and city. She decided to destroy, redesign, and rebuild what was known as Barad Himling and it is now redesigned, rebuilt and renamed as Rilmanost. The name Rilmanost means "City of Glittering Light". The current ruler of the city and island is Ethilion, 3rd Lord of Rilmanost, who is currently also Lord of the Islands'.

Capture

Elostirion - The 3 great elven towers at Tower Hills in eregion, a joint building project of the High-Elves and the Rangers of the North. PantherPearl ruled the Build as 1st Lord of Elostirion for a time.

Other builds

High-elven Builds in other Lands:

Calmoressë (formerly: Caras Imloth Junior) (Kingdom Build) - "Light in the Dark", a gigantic build covering a large area, with multiple fortresses and holds spread out over a vast landmass, connected via numerous long underground tunnels. The main Fortress was founded by Rikz5 who was Lord of Caras Imloth at the time, before the ruin of CI. Calmoressë as a whole however, was founded by the 2nd King and his (at the time) wife and Queen, while they were hunting orcs and trolls in an age far preceding the founding of the original Caras Imloth, possibly also the coronation of SinzPet himself. Ruled by Rikz5, 1st Lord of Caras Imloth Junior. On 2017-04-26 CI Jr was renamed Calmoressë.

Past Builds of the High-Elven Kingdom

These are builds that no longer exist:

Felasîdh (Enedlindon) - Semi-underground harbor-city of Glaerdir.

Yonwarost (Enedlindon) - A city in northern Enedlindon, near the broder of Lindon, Eriador and Lindon Woodlands. Founded by tobi_raschi. The name of the city is in Quenya, and means "City of the Borders"

Edhelion (Enedlindon) - Known as the Refuge of Edhelion. Founded by Noldorin elves, Uilosson specifically.

Carnirin (Harlindon) - Built and ruled by Triller_75. The name of this city means "redtown" and referes to the fact that much of the city is built with sarngaran, from the red mountains.

Brenilond (Harlindon) (formerly named Lassenost)(Kingdom Build) - Ruled by JAB24601. The city's old name was derived from the Quenyan translation of the city of leaves in honor of the many trees that grow there and the sindar elves that lived there many years before the Noldor returned. Built by the sea, Brenilond is a port city, and thrives on trade with the dwarves of the blue mountains. The main residents and builders of this build is JAB24601, Carnifindion and Lord Narvin. Help is always appreciated and the gates are always open for weary travelers and fellow High Elves.

Rivendell WP Outpost (Kingdom Build) - An outpost of Rivendell at the Rivendell WP.

Orvarondo (Eregion) - Founded by DaGamer9901, Orvarendil. This is a hidden city, currently only DaGamer9901 & SinzPet know the exact location. In Westron, Orvarondo translates into "Vaulted cave-halls of the Apples". The city is known for the great forest of apple trees surrondding its entrance. Inside the city, you'll find many gardens, plains, rivers, and apple trees.

Náraiwosto (Tol Fuin) - A city inspired greatly by mythical fire-birds (the pheonix). Built by Ningannel.

Yonwatol Ando (Tol Fuin) (Kingdom Build) - The Gate of the Island-Border is was named, because of where it was built. This Fortress was built along the border between Western and Eastern Tol Fuin, where it was used to signify the border between the High-Elves and the Extinct Herenyar. But since that whole island was reclaimed by the High-Elves, it has lost that functionality, and now marks the half-way mark through Tol Fuin. It is quite a beauty to behold to be honest.

Caras Imloth - A Great orc-hunting City of the High-Elves in The North-Western arm of the Misty Mountains at the border of Angmar. Founded by Madnessfan, owned by pancakeponcho and ruled by Rikz5. Now in ruins after ages of battle (deleted in a world-reset).

Elemmoressë (Kingdom Build) - "Star in the Dark", founded by SinzPet, it is the Cousin-build of Calmoressë, but in Mordor instead of Angmar. It, like t's cousin, is a Hunting-Base. Nothing more.

The Vassal State of Vinyondolind:

Vinyondolind is a vassal state to both the High-Elves and the Dwarves of the Blue Mountains. It is a Trading Centre for the 2 factions at the border of the factions' lands. Its name means "new-Gondolin", and it is built in the image of its namesake. Its warriors wear Galvorn armor and use the Gondolin title, in a light blue color. The Surface of the City is more Elven, while the underground is more dwarven.

The Vassal of Vinyondolind is FFub.

The Vassal faction of Muinë Quendi:

The Vassal Faction of the Muinë Quendi is a faction that answers to the High-Elves and the council, but they rule themselves. Their members do not have to be members of the High-Elven Kingdom, but some are.

Their leader, the Vassal of the Muinë Quendi, is a High-elf by the name of H_King_Gil_Galad.

Their first build is the Hidden Library of the Muinë Quendi.

Players

Players:

  1. SinzPet - 2nd High King of the High-Elves, Ingolmo Lindóno (Loremaster of Lindon), Champion of the 6th, 9th , 13th & 31st Mallorn Parties, Noldorin Lord of Arataurë (before he became king) and 2nd Lord of Harlond. A Noldorin elf with approximately 20% Laiquendian and 10% Vanyarin blood. He has traveled across much of Middle-Earth in his life, but his home has always been Lindon. At first he lived in a grand forest around the area where Mithlond whould later be built. He married Valetty soon after setteling down in the forest, where they then built their treehouse high up in the canopy of the forest. His appearance is certainly typical of the Noldor, having brown hair and grey eyes. Furthermore, he "wears" his High-Elven heritage proudly, being clad in different shades of blue. He mostly wears his light-blue cloak with the national symbol( also the shape of his Castle), in a darker blue, on the back. One day the mighty High King of the High-Elves, Glaerdir, and his brother, Internet_Miners, came to their doorstep and asked to buy some of their land, which extended all the way from the border of the forest to the shore of the gulf of Lúnë. SinzPet then sold the land at the shore to the mighty King, who immediately began building his great city, Mithlond, which would later become the Capital. The king soon after officially named the great forest Arataurë, at SinzPet's request. SinzPet gained much fame in Mithlond and soon became the steward of the king. He gained many friends among the western factions, most notably: Hell_Metallicus( whom he helped gain the chieftainship of the Rangers), SpoangityBob( Lord of Moria), Arantoer_II( whom he helped become King of Gondor) and Mewarmy( King of Rohan). (To read how he became king, scroll up and look in the "Rulers"-section.) He became High King on the 12th of February 2015, and has since ruled, shaped and brought his faction to never before seen levels of Glory. The faction became organized like no other and building boomed. SinzPet's rule can certainly be described as the age of advancement. Stepped down as king feb 10th or so. 2018, naming LibertyMom his successor. He spends his days building his city, Harlond.
  2. MevansBrother (formerly: Capt9Captain (formerly: Internet_Miners)) - Brother of the 1st king of the High-Elves (Glaerdir), Hand of the King, heir to the throne, Prince of Dol Amroth, Ambassador to Gondor and ex-Lord of Fangorn. He is the brother of the 1st king of the High-Elves, or actually, half-brother. They shared one parent as Glaerdir was 100% elf, while Internet_Miners had one human parent, one of the Swan Knights of Dol Amroth. This elf is truly amazing, no other elf would have accomplished what he has. He is a High-Elven lord and yet he is also lord of Fangorn and the ents there. He is very charismatic and he has shown great loyalty and wisdom to them, which is how he managed this great feat. The ents rally behind him as if he were the herald of Yavanna. He also spent some time among the Swan-knights and quickly advanced through the ranks. He is now Commander of the Order of the Swan Knights.
  3. Overlordess - Curanir (Bow-Wanderer), referring to her weapon and her constant exploring. A Noldorin elf with 25% Falmarin and 15% Sindarin blood. A true expert of the life in the wilderness and on the move.
  4. Gil_Galad(formerly: AFbaloglu) - Linyenwaldano( Elder). A wise and old Noldorin elf of Lindon. It is rumoured that he is the son of two of the first elves who awoke at Cuiviénen. He has been with us longer than most and has hence become wise and acts mostly as an advisor.
  5. Hayoo - Ciryatur (Admiral), Lord of Vinyamar and Lancarer Lindóno (Cartographer of Lindon). Hayoo is a Noldorin elf, with 25% Falmarin & 25% Sindarin (Falathrim) blood. He is the official Admiral of the navy of the High-Elves. Ciryatur is Quenya for "Admiral" and literally means "ship-ruler". Hayoo left Lindon many ages ago, becoming a mariner, exploring the ancient Númenorean ruins and cities for a good portion of his life. He has however now returned to his homeland with great wisdom of the seas and has through his expertise become the Admiral of the High-Elven Navy.
  6. SirYodaCoke (formerly: vaclav999) - 2nd Lord of Arta Minyortala Eleno, Champion of the 1st Mallorn Party. 50% Vanyarin, 25% Noldorin and 25% Falmarin blood flows in his veins. He has the appearance of the royal line of the Falmari, meaning: blue eyes and silver hair. It is unknown if he is related to the Royal Line of the Falmari or not, it is possible that he is the grandson of one of Olwe's several sons, but unlikely; he shares his family history only with his most trusted friends.
  7. robot_AI - An elf of Lindon.
  8. dieguccii (formerly: d1eg0t( formerly: iDiegoT)) - A Noldorin elf of Lindon.

  11. CaptainMerloin (formerly: CountSVZ, formerly: vonZarovic, formerly: KuzeyliBirisi, formerly: Kuzeyli, formerly: TheRainerMan) - 1st Lord of Andulond, 3rd Lord of Rivendell, Nurmahan and Former Ambassador to Khazad-dûm (Moria). CountSVZ has 50% Vanyarin and 50% Ñoldorin blood. Accepted on 2015-05-30. No one knew from whence he came. He had dark brown hair and grey eyes, and a fire like nothing anyone had ever seen inside these eyes. He was taller than others. His mother-name was Ergil (Ereleno in the original Quenya). But his real name is secret. He asked to become a subject of The King. The Fair King of the High Elves thought many hours upon this matter, because his insticts told him a great many things. At the end of this process, The King, SinzPet decided to accept him. And after a while, The King even give him land in Forlindon and asked him to build and rule the city of Andulond. CountSVZ accepted with great pleasure. One peaceful night, CountSVZ came to the castle of SinzPet and asked to speak to him about his life story, which he had kept hidden up until then. The King, who was eager to hear about this mysterious elf, granted this and CountSVZ started: "My King, do you remember what you told me once? When I was new among you, you told me: "You are one of the most peculiar elves under my care, my friend". Yes, you were right, I indeed am peculiar. But this will no longer confuse you, once you hear my story... I was the first elf born from relationships between the Vanyar and the Ñoldor, in Valinor. I saw Fëanor's speech and oath in Valinor. I have seen the rising of darkness and falling of many kings. Did you ever hear about the House of the Golden Eagle( Glóriël Thoron in Sindarin), my King? Perhaps. It was a little house in Northern Beleriand with 200 soldiers and 350 citizens. The ruler of the house was my father, Thilion The Craftsman. Ah, and my mother, Luinelótë, a beautiful elf of the Vanyar, remained in Valinor when me and my father came here to Middle-earth. My family, the soldiers and all those others were killed by orcs in Dagor Bragollach. I alone survived. I was one of the elves who saw Fingolfin riding to Angbad to fight Melkor. I have seen much evil. I walked on the path of every king, saw the rising of Suaron and the falling of Gil-Galad. And after the defeat of Sauron in the 2nd age, I went to the South and lived there in lonelyness untill i joined you. While living in the south, i many times felt the weariness of the world and almost fell asleep many times. But i did not. The desire to still help the Kings of my people lived on and so i came back to these last remaining lands of where my father died, to serve you, my king. That is all that I wanted to say. Now, with your leave, I would ask to withdraw, back to Andulond." The King shook his head, as though he couldn't believe what was said. After a while he said that he was more then glad to hear that not all of the house of the Laurëa Soron had perished, and that he was happy to one such old elf in his service.

His father and Mother were of the Noldor that did not depart from Valinor at the start of the first age. He was in his early adulthood when he joined the host of the Valar together with his parents and came with them to the breaking of Thangorodrim. He then decided to stay in Middle Earth and explore. As a Noldorin Elf, he loved crafts and metalwork and because he had not witnessed or taken part in the strife between dwarves and elves, he developed a close relationship with the dwarves, and even stayed with them, learning, for a couple of ages. He then felt the need to rejoin his kin and share all that he had learned among the dwarves. He chose Eregion for his home, because that was where the Great Smith Celebrimbor had lived, and he wanted to follow in his footsteps.

Autobiography: My Father was one of the Vanyar (with some Noldorin blood, some generations back) and my mother was one of the Noldor. My parents met around 550 first age. Some time after the war of wrath, they had a child, me, and they named me Nimbrethil. We lived in a small village near the blue mountains in Lindon until 3430 second age, when they left to fight against sauron in the last alliance. They fought side by side, but sadly, with one fell swoop my mother got crushed by Sauron’s mace. My father was almost killed himself, but he escaped with only a broken arm. He barely survived the grief of losing my mother, after which he vowed never to fight again, unless great need rose. We lived in the Misty mountains in a secluded secret valley and kept a path across the mountains open. Then more orcs came and slowly overran us. I had to leave and my dad went to live somewhere else, he never told me, he just said,” I might see you again but untill then, goodbye my son.” I built my own house in Lindon where I could be close to the blue mountains which I had begun to love. Brick by brick I built my house. Many Years later I wandered into the misty mountains and found my old home ransacked by orcs, I have now started to rebuild it. It is not yet finished, but once so, it will stand as a memory to my parents forever.

  31. Darth_Churros (formerly: PilotX95) - Former Captain of the Guard of Ost-in-Edhil. Formerly an elf of Ost-in-Edhil, Eregion. Accepted on 2016-01-16. My father was a Noldo with some Vanyarin blood, but was a loyal follower of Fingolfin. My mother was a Falmari with some Noldorin ancestry who met my father outside Tirion before the destruction of the Trees. It was before Telperion where I was finally born, but my mother left to dwell with her own people when I was four. After that I was raised by my father in Tirion, but occasionally he would sneak out of the city to visit my mother at Alqualondë. Thus was my younger sister, Yáminë, born. She lived with my mother however, and we rarely met. When I was seventeen and she was nine, the Trees were destroyed by Morgoth and Ungoliant, and soon after my father followed Fingolfin after Fëanor to Middle-earth. During the Kinslaying, my mother was killed, but my sister escaped with me and my father, who refused to fight the Teleri, hidden aboard one of the white ships while crossing the Great Sea. When we reached Middle-earth, my father took us under the protection of the Sindar of Doriath, but we moved to Gondolin as soon as it was built. When the city was sacked, my father was killed by an Orc horde while Yáminë and I escaped east, into Ossiriand. We dwelt for much of our lives in what is now called Forlindon. When Sauron in the guise of Annatar visited Eregion, I immediately traveled there to learn the art of smith-craft from the elves of Ost-in-Edhil. Yáminë however was wary and instead decided to cross the Mountains and live in Lothlorien. As I was traveling however, Ost was destroyed and I returned to nothing. Disheartened by the loss of my home, I established a small base on Menemmírë, an island in a river, which is where I have lived since, through the attempts to rebuild the city throughout the Third Age.

Story in lore: An old Noldor with some Vanyar blood, born in Tiron in the days of the two trees. Went into exile in Beleriand, though he loved Tirion the fair, the land of Aman, the Valar and the Vanyar. He was swayed to leave by the words of Feanor concerning a wide and empty land, in which they might build new cities, and order realms of there own.  He lived in Gondolin and became a lord of the House of the Golden Flower under Glorfindel the golden, is said to bear much of his likeness. By their commonalites he became fast friends with Sallion Vanyamo, a lord of the House of the Fountain. By good fortune and his friendship with Tour and Idril he survived the fall of Gondolin and fled to Sirion, later moving with Gil-Galad to Lindon, also dwelling for a time in Eregion, where he learned the art of smithcraft. Also visited Imladris, home of Elrond, grandson of his friend of elder days, Tuor.  Together with his friend Sallion, he wishes to construct a white city in the image of Gondolin and Tirion, greatest cites of the Noldor in the days of their power. Such a city would be a magnificent work, long in the planning, longer in the building, in order to do honor to the glory of Gondolin and Tiron, for which the two lords ever remember.

  6. OculosMortis (formerly: BMBIHNTR) - He WAS: Turcarer, Lord( now founder) of Mithlond and chief Architect( Turcarer) of the High-Elves. Now he has betrayed the faction and griefed Mithlond. OculosMortis was a Noldorin elf, he was raised among the rangers of the North because his father lived there with them. There it was discovered that he had great talent in giving shape to things. This talent was later enhanced towards creating marvelous building for the chieftain of the North. OculosMortis has since his arrival in Lindon gained much fame and was also given the title Chief Architect of the High-Elves by the 2nd King after proving his worth. His most famed build among the elves is the rebuilding of Mithlond, a truly marvelous wonder to behold. Turcarer is Quenya for Architect, which in turn stems from Greek and means "chief builder". The word Turcarer is neoQuenya (Tolkien didnt translate this word himself, but his students did, using the rules he left behind) and consists of the elements: "turco" = "chief" + "car-" = "to build/make" + "-r" = an ending denoting that the person is the "doer" of the verb, hence: builder. Nationality

The High-Elves of Middle-Earth are very proud elves, proud of Heritage and Country. And as such, special national symbols have emerged through time. These are listed below.

National Color

The National Color of the High-Elves upon Middle-Earth is Blue, as the sea, which is much beloved by all elves. As water was one of the things they first beheld when they awoke at Cuiviénen.

The High-Elves use different shades of blue, but light-blue is a preferred color.

National Emblem

The National Emblem/device of the High-Elves.

High-Elven Kingdom Emblem

National Flag

The High-Elven Banner.

High-Elven Banner

National Symbol

The National Symbol of the High-Elves is a bright Star with 4 lesser stars around it. It can be found in the High-Elven Flag as well as on the back of the light-blue cloak worn by the 2nd High King. All elves love the stars, as they were the some of the first things beheld by them when they first awoke, but the High-Elves love the stars more deeply than other elves, and have therefore encorporated them into their national symbol.

National Song/Poem

The national Song of the High-Elves is the beautiful poem Namárië, which can be found also in The Lord of the Rings (The Fellowship of the Ring, Book 2, Chapter "Farewell to Lórien"), where it was sung by Galadriel.

But here are the Lyrics:

Ai! laurië lantar lassi súrinen, Yéni únótimë ve rámar aldaron! Yéni ve lintë yuldar avánier mi oromardi lisse-miruvóreva Andúnë pella, Vardo tellumar nu luini yassen tintilar i eleni ómaryo airetári-lírinen.

Sí man i yulma nin enquantuva?

An sí Tintallë Varda Oiolossëo ve fanyar máryat Elentári ortanë ar ilyë tier undulávë lumbulë; ar sindanóriello caita mornië i falmalinnar imbë met, ar hísië untúpa Calaciryo míri oialë. Sí vanwa ná, Rómello vanwa, Valimar!

Namárië! Nai hiruvalyë Valimar. Nai elyë hiryva. Namárië!

English Translation:

Ah! like gold fall the leaves in the wind, long years numberless as the wings of trees! The long years have passed like swift draughts of the sweet mead in lofty halls beyond the West, beneath the blue vaults of Varda wherein the stars tremble in the song of her voice, holy and queenly.

Who now shall refill the cup for me?

For now the Kindler, Varda, the Queen of the stars, from Mount Everwhite has uplifted her hands like clouds and all paths are drowned deep in shadow; and out of a grey country darkness lies on the foaming waves between us, and mist covers the jewels of Calacirya for ever. Now lost, lost to those of the East is Valimar!

National Quote

What is a High-Elf like?/"quote of the High-Elves"

This is the quote of the High-Elves. High-Elves should model themselves after this quote. All High-Elves should aspire to be wise, as worded in this quote.

Main part of the quote: Empty your days of the search for security; fill them with a passion for service. Empty your hours of the ambition for recognition; fill them with the aspiration for achievement. Empty your moments of the need for entertainment; fill them with the quest for creativity.

Entire quote of the High-Elves:

"If you are wise, you will forget yourself into greatness. Forget your rights, but remember your responsibilities. Forget your inconveniences, but remember your blessings. Forget your own accomplishments, but remember your debts to others. Forget your privileges, but remember your obligations. Follow the examples of Florence Nightingale, of Albert Schweitzer, of Abraham Lincoln, of Tom Dooley, and forget yourself into greatness.

If you are wise, you will empty yourself into adventure.

Remember the words of General Douglas MacArthur: "There is no security on this earth. There is only opportunity." Empty your days of the search for security; fill them with a passion for service. Empty your hours of the ambition for recognition; fill them with the aspiration for achievement. Empty your moments of the need for entertainment; fill them with the quest for creativity.

If you are wise, you will lose yourself into immortality.

Lose your cynicism. Lose your doubts. Lose your fears. Lose your anxiety. Lose your unbelief. Remember these truths: A person must soon forget himself to be long remembered. He must empty himself in order to discover a fuller self. He must lose himself to find himself. Forget yourself into greatness. Empty yourself into adventure. Lose yourself into immortality." ~ William Arthur Ward.

Lore of the Tareldar (Server History)

In the early days of the server the High-Elves didn't see much publicity, except for the infamous Hayoo-bug. The Ancient High-Elf Hayoo, who first built the foundations of Moria, had travelled on a horse to the area north-west of Mithlond, across the gulf, and had there lagged out of the server. From that day forward, for roughly a month, he could always be seen on the map at that precise point, even when he was offline.

But then one day, Coolseb1000( MG( Glaerdir)) became the first High King of the High-Elves. He was a fierce warrior, feared and respected by all.

He and his (RolePlay) half-brother internet_miners ruled the high elves for roughly half a year. They were very influential even though few in numbers.

One fateful day, they came to the borders of a great forest by the shore in order to build their Capital Mithlond. But the forest and the shore was already owned by the Lord and Lady of that forest, SinzPet and Valetty, so they bought some of their lands and started the construction. SinzPet was given more authority within the faction and the city and the Forest was named Arataurë, the Noble-wood. King Glaerdir took a special interest in SinzPet then it seemed, he found the tree-dweller very peculiar, and he greatly respected him for the amount of knowledge he possesed. Soon, the city stood tall and proud and the High-Elves had become a force to be reckoned with. Many events, friendly gatherings and competitions took place in the city. As well as some diplomatic gatherings of the wild men of Dunland under Evil_Mogwai, the horse-lords of Rohan under b_boymasterman and the High-Elves of Lindon. At which, Glaerdir often managed to calm the natural enemies down so that war could be avoided. These gatherings resulted in alliances between the High-elves and the Rohirrim as well as the dunlendings, the Dunlendings and the Rohirrim also came to a truce at this time. Glaerdir was also married to BlueTheTrixter, sister of the 2nd king of the woodland realm, Faelon, in Mithlond.

At this time, the decline of Gondor was at its greatest, so the High-Elves decided to help b_boymasterman to help him return to his Gondorian Heritage and to gain the throne of Gondor, to save the country. This endeavour was a success in the end.

At this point, SinzPet, the Lord of Arataurë, had become the Steward of the King, and helped him in any way he could.

Now Mithlond had seen increasing numbers of elven inhabitants, which was all good and well, but then, one of those turned out to be a Griefer. The city was totally griefed and disfigured. This was the first griefing of Mithlond.

Then the server world-reset of 2015-02-02 happened where Mithlond was totally destroyed.

Work on Mithlond began again shortly after the reset, maybe on the 5th?, although, OculosMortis was the main builder this time.

A couple of days later, the High King of the High-Elves, Glaerdir (MG, coolseb1000), marched with his loyal lords and allied men of Gondor towards Mordor for one last battle to cleanse Middle-Earth from its filth, where they met their armies at the border of the black land.

Glaerdir was not found and was presumed dead, lost between mud and the blood of fallen friends and foes. The brother of the king, Internet_Miners, Lord of Fangorn, who was still grieving for his brother felt that he could not abandon his beloved ents in the woods and thus he passed on the Kingship to the Steward of the king, SinzPet, who, with grief still knawing at his heart, accepted the throne. Thus becomming the 2nd High King of the High-Elves.

On 2015-02-12, SinzPet was crowned High King. After which he formed the Council of the high-Elves on 2015-02-13.

2015-02-15, Afghan_kidd claimed Tol Morwen, Tol Fuin and Himling for the High-Elves.

2015-03-20, The High-Elves assembled their armies and went out to war, only to arrive at the battlefield too late. The Gondorians had won the first great southern war, without the help of the High-Elves.

2015-03-24, The High-Elven council introduced the idea of having "Citizenship IDs" for the members of the faction. This idea was put on hold though, until the great Archive could be built, or that was the idea anyways.

2015-03-25, The Alliance contract between the High-Elves and Lothlóriën was signed.

Mid-April 2015, CelebrimborII becomes the (somewhat) unofficial 2nd High-Elven Lord of Eregion.

2015-05-14, The 2nd griefing of Mithlond was commited by OculosMortis and CelebrimborII, which got them banished from the faction. Mithlond was officially abandoned by its builders, after which the council stepped in and claimed the ruins as the First High-Elven Kingdom Build as well as repaired most of the damage.

2015-06-02, Afghan_kidd broke away from the Kingdom and made himself “King of the Islands”. Tol Morwen, western Tol Fuin and Himling are sold to Afghan.

Early-June, The Council of the High-Elves vowed to make the recruitment process much more thorough, so that they would never have another Afghan or Oculos again. They began to be picky of who they let into the faction, extending “recruit-time”, enforcing a rule that required two Higher Lords to accept a new recruit before they could be an official member and they devised new Laws for the Kingdom. They prepared new cities to defend against expansions of factions that had no busiess in High-Elven Lands, and to defend against the threat of war, and for the new wave of members to become the new core of a stronger, more united Kingdom, and to undo the hurts that Oculos and Afghan had inflicted on the people of the High-Elves. They built the “Recruitment camp”, promoted Lords, made defensive plans, and welcomed each new member that made it through the recruitment process with cheers.

2015-06-10, The Alliance contract between the High-Elves and Afghan’s Herenyar was signed.

2015-06-14, The High-Elves endered into a deep coalition with the Blue Dwarves and Created a Vassal-State that answered to them both. Vinyondolind it was called, “New-Gondolin”. Governed by the Vassal FFub.

2015-06-21 - 2015-07-11, The building of the road on Tol Fuin took place.

2015-06-21 - (still on-going), The building of Mindon Tarno & Yanwë Tarno took place.

2015-06-27, The Alliance contract between the High-Elves and the Dwarven Lords’ Council, thus all good-aligned dwarves, was signed.

2015-07-13, The concept of the High-Elven Kingdom Builds was put into official documents.

2015-07-18, The first Quest for the Mountain Troll Chieftain’s Head was held.

2015-07-25, SinzPet, Valetty & Eldarion26 attended the coronation of Atanvarno, 5th King of Gondor, in Minas Tirith as the representatives of the High-Elves.

2015-08-10, IronRyts, 1st Lord of Rivendell and Council member, leaves the server, thus leaving Rivendell unfinished.

2015-08-10, The High-Elves accept the deal offered by Cookminers, Lord of Lothlóriën; to help him build Caras Galadhon in exchange for the land of Swanfleet. Work began right away.

2015-08-24, The 1st High King of the High-Elves, Glaerdir, was found, he returned to the faction. This is the story:

One great step after another the tree-shepherds walked, coming closer to the edge of their forest. They had seen many travelers pass through the land. Some they could trust, others they could not. In another time, in another place, this would not have happened. But it did, so they had to be watchful for ones who came with fire. “Hhooom,” boomed one of the ents, and their marched stopped. They would not have thought it to be nothing more than a new growth of roots at first glance. However, the figure moved and sat up straight and made them think otherwise. Long hair, light skin, strong figure. Elvish? The figure’s eyes were glazed over as if lost in a dream. “Do they come with fire?” questioned one ent. “Who are you?” another asked the figure. There was no response. “He has gone treeish,” stated a shepherd. “We shall bring him to the elf-master. Perhaps interaction with his own shall bring him out of sleep.” One ent stepped over to the stranger and with one large hand prodded him to stand. The elf-traveler stood up meekly and walked to the small patrol group. Very soon they were on their way to the elf-master’s talan.

~~~~*~~~~
Tancatur sat at the edge of the platform, legs folded and in deep contemplation. There have been no threats as of late, no troublesome orc raids to eliminate…there has been little going on. It was a brief time of peace, and he welcomed that with open arms. It allowed time to think, and to prepare for any diplomatic journey that he might have to make in the near future. He raised his head as he heard the steps of the ents, and he arose. He descended the talan to meet them. The shepherds broke through the trees soon after the elf touched the forest floor. “We have brought a stranger to you, young master.” Hoomed one, “He is of your kind, but no name can be placed. We have not seen his face before.” Tancatur raised a brow at this news. His eyes drifted to the other ents that had come to the clearing; assumingly with their guest. The elf-lord saw the stranger: still and motionless. Tancatur silently stepped closer to the other elf, inspecting his face. “Who are you?” he questioned, “and for what cause has brought you to this place?” Silence. Tancatur frowned, but he said nothing further and continued to inspect the figure. The elf had seen much hardship it looked, given the aged and rugged appearance. Where did he come from, he wondered? From whence did this elf… Then something struck Tancatur’s thought…his heart, and he took a step back and his expression changed. ‘It could not be. It cannot be. Irmo, let this not be a cruel dream!’ “Glaerdir?” he whispered, hesitating.
There was no answer, but it was clear that it was indeed who he thought it was. The ents were amazed, yet Tancatur never bothered to look. He was overwhelmed with emotion, and unable to restrain himself, wrapped his arms tightly around Glaerdir. It seemed to be the key to the prison the former king was locked in, as he gasped slightly, and the dull expression he had faded. Tancatur pulled back, but he did not let go completely as his hands rested on Glaerdir’s shoulders. Glaerdir took a moment to reorient himself, immensely confused. He looked around at first before his eyes fell on the one thing, person, that did not seem out of the ordinary. “Tancatur?” his voice sounded raspy from disuse. “Brother,” Tancatur’s voice broke. “Where have you been? What happened that day? We searched for you for so long, and found you not! Did they take you before we could find you?” His questions could not be held back, even when he mentally chided himself. ‘Stop overwhelming him you fool! You know not what he has been through!’ Glaerdir gently broke himself free from Tancatur’s hands, shaking his head, his expression troubled and unsure. He recalled the battle, he recalled…nothing. Oh stars, what did happen to land him in this situation? How did he even come to be here?
Eventually, he answered in a small voice in the midst of Tancatur’s rambling, “I do not recall.” That shut the lord of Fangorn’s mouth and he stared, incredulous and worried. This grieved him, for Varda alone knows what his brother had gone through. Perhaps it was a mercy that Glaerdir did not know. But it has been so long… “Forgive me,” Tancatur murmured softly. “It was wrong of me to inquire of you so soon. Not after…whatever has happened. Please,” he closed the distance again. “Let us heal you?” Glaerdir looked tired all of a sudden, as if that question finally gave him the knowledge that he could be for a time. He nodded silently. Tancatur took Glaerdir by the hand and pulled him along towards the talan. It would be one last climb before the former king could begin healing.
~~~~*~~~~

Some months later… Roccorendil set aside a newly sealed document before glancing out the window. The day was bright, the birds chirped, and a gentle breeze flitted through the trees. He heard the door open to his chamber and he looked over his shoulder to see a forerunner. The messenger’s eyes were wide with disbelief and other emotions were written on her face. “The lord Tancatur and king Glaerdir are approaching.” The first thought Roccorendil started thinking was: ‘Why did he not send a…’ But when he heard the second name, his heart skipped a beat. No, it could not be. He turned back to his desk to make sure he did not miss any sort of note or letter from Fangorn. Apparently not. “My lord, what shall I do?” “Are you sure of this?” Roccorendil questioned skeptically. “I would not dare lie to you, sire! I have seen it with my own eyes: they shall be here soon!” Roccorendil debated this in his thought. No one ever spoke of Glaerdir save in song, as the memory of his passing was of great sorrow. If this messenger spoke his name in this setting…it must be true...

The king arose and made way to the door, and the other elf stepped aside to let him pass. The urgency in his steps earned him a few glances from the other elves in his halls, but he ignored them. By the time he had stepped out of the gates, there were small party of elves a few meters away. They were guards mostly, and only two figures stood out from the group. Tancatur Roccorendil recognized at once, yet the other one…It took him only a moment to recognize the face underneath the aging. “My lord,” Roccorendil got down to one knee. As did the others who had followed him. “On your feet, faithful servant.” Glaerdir commanded softly. Tancatur had dismounted already. Stablehands were taking the horses away and the guards left their respective lords along with each other. Roccorendil obeyed; his heart overjoyed and filled with shock. He was at a loss at what to do, how to react. This had come so suddenly…he could not have missed a letter, he was sure of it! The second king shook his head and turned to those who were behind him. “Prepare their chambers at once.” He turned back to Tancatur and his king, sending them a message with the expression he had. The two understood.

~~~~*~~~~
“I never received word of your coming! I would have been much more prepared if I knew!” “You did not receive my message?” Roccorendil shook his head. Tancatur scowled, “Damned orcs must have shot the falcon down for their dinner.” “It matters not now,” Roccorendil turned his head to Glaerdir. “I cannot describe my elation to see you alive, my lord.” Glaerdir was looking out the window in the council chamber they were. He had been looking at everything they walked by: remembering of the better times before his disappearance, before the war. At his former steward’s words, he canted his head slightly. “I find myself in a similar predicament…I have no memory of the time after the battle.” Roccorendil glanced at Tancatur, shocked. The lord of Fangorn shook his head. “He has not recalled anything since he was brought to my home.” “I have searched long and hard for them; I have prayed for them to be restored to me,” Glaerdir’s shoulders slumped. “But I have been granted nothing; no answers to my questions.” Silence filled the room for a time before the former king spoke again. “You have made the realm mighty, my friend.” Glaerdir whispered. “Beyond what I could have done.” “And it shall grow greater still, lord,” Roccorendil said boldly and with profound respect. “Under your rule you shall preform greater feats than I have.” Glaerdir was silent. Tancatur read the sign immediately. “Brother, you are healing still from your ordeal.” He started softly, “and our trek was long and hard. Do not worry over the things of the realm for now.” Glaerdir exhaled slowly, “Then I shall retire to my rooms.”
The other elves nodded their understanding. Glaerdir stepped away from the window and left. Roccorendil was grieved. “I placed too much on him too soon. It has been so long. Alas, if all could be made as it was in such a brief time!” “A lament that it cannot be so.” Tancatur mourned. Roccorendil thought long and hard before he sighed. “I would not burden him with so much so soon…I would not dare force my lord to make a step that he is not ready to make.” Tancatur lifted his head. “Let my brother have peace for a time, lord. He has improved since he was brought to me, but there is still a long way to tread.” He then spoke his thoughts. “I fear the damage may have been too much, sire.” Roccorendil knew what was being implied. As much as it hurt him to think of it, he would want his lord to have true healing, even if that must be found in the West. He bowed his head, “Let it be so then, if that is what it takes for him to be restored.”
~~~~*~~~~

Glaerdir took the sight of his rooms in. He knew this place. He knew everything: the paths, the halls...his people, everything. But he could not remember what possible torment he had undergone. These past months had been in deep contemplation and searching, and nothing came up. Did the Valar believe it best that he did not know? Did they put a barrier to his mind to prevent him from remembering? He had trouble deciding if it was a curse or a blessing. Glaerdir sat down on the bed, head bowed. He was tired for unknown reasons. Tancatur was still right: he was still recovering. If this deep-seated weariness was a result of whatever he went through, then he deserved the right to know what had happened. Did he have heart-break? Was he tortured? Or was a simply wandering like a mindless beast for so many years? He just did not know… And great stars above, why could he not know? What happened?

1st quest for the Gondolinean Armor

2016-01-09, The 1st quest for the Gondolinean Armor was a total success!

13 High Elves showed up for it, and we got to kill the chieftain 7 times.

The objective of the quest was to collect 1 full set of Gondolin Armor for the faction, which high elves can request to wear once for the achievement and title. The objective was achieved!!!

The Gondolin Armor set is standing on display in Mithlond for all to see.

Present at the fights were:

  • SinzPet
  • Valetty
  • Overlordess
  • internet_miners
  • Samaranth00
  • MrHobbit1234
  • Rikz5
  • DaGamer9901
  • Eldarion26
  • LibertyMom
  • ZorviaGames
  • Velenne
  • Hayoo

The extra loot we collected was hoarded in a nearby chest and then distributed at random among the participants, taking into account both how many fights the participant had taken part of as well as how many totem parts they brought for the event.

The amazing Overlordess has graced the High Elves with a video recount of the events that took place on January 9, 2016.

1 year Anniversary Party of SinzPet as High King of the High-Elves, as well as the formation of the High-Elven Council

2016-02-13, This was the day the High-Elven Council was made, one year earlier. SinzPet was crowned king one day before this. A Great party was held in honor of the 2nd High King SinzPet and the Council in Mithlond. It started with a speach from the king, then a great feast took place and the party was ended with a grand Fireworks Show.

Here is a link to watch the proceedings.

2 year Anniversary Party of SinzPet as High King of the High-Elves, as well as the formation of the High-Elven Council

2017-02-11, This was 2 days before the High-Elven Council was made, two years earlier. SinzPet was crowned king one day before the council was made. A Great party was held in honor of the 2nd High King SinzPet and the Council in Mithlond. It started with a speach from the king, then a great feast took place and the party was ended with a grand Fireworks Show, this year's show exceeding last year's in grandeur.

3 year Anniversary Party of SinzPet as High King of the High-Elves, as well as the formation of the High-Elven Council & the Coronation of LibertyMom as High Queen

2018-02-10, This was 2 days before SinzPet was crowned High King three years earlier, and 3 days before the council of the high-elves was formed also three years earlier. A Great party was held in honor of the 2nd High King SinzPet and the Council as well as to celebrate the coronation of LibertyMom as 1st High Queen in Mithlond. It started with a speach from the King, then the crown was passed on to his heir LibertyMom and thus she was coronated and made Queen, then a great feast took place and the party was ended with a grand Fireworks Show.

LibertyMom is a High-Elf that joined the Kingdom only 3 months after SinzPet first became King, a truly old High-Elf. Always generous and fun-loving, and an insane amout of High-Elven Alignment of over 100 000 all make LibertyMom a truly exceptional High-Elf.

LibertyMom is known to be one of the most friendly and generous elves to ever walk on Arda as well as her love for her people.

Order of the Tareldar

The Order of the Tareldar is a set of ranks High-Elves can achieve in the High-Elven Kingdom, outside the Government Ranks. These are ranks/titles that any High-Elf can achieve, if they simply have enough drive to work for them. And make no mistake, to earn any one of these is a feat in itself. It takes time, dedication and hard work.

The Order of the Tareldar consists of 7 categories of different general proficiencies, and in each category, there are 3 ranks/classes. Which means that there are a combined 21 classes. The 3 different classes of the different categories are based off of the Nur/Tar/Ar-system, the Lesser/Higher/Noble-system that the High-Elves have used since the early days of SinzPet's rule. Meaning that the First class of any of the 7 categories an elf reaches in any given category will be the Nur-stage of that category, and so on... The higher stages being much harder to achieve. In order to get a Tar-class in any given category, the elf would need to have the Nur-class of that category. And in order to get an Ar-class, the elf would need to have the Tar-class of course. Only the Council of the High-Elves, the Armáhani, can award the Ar-Classes to elves who they think have earned it.

Once an elf has achieved the Ar-class in any given category, they, along with the Tarmáhani of the Kingdom, are the ones who decide to whom they should and shouldn't award classes 1 and 2 in that category to. And this goes for all categories, once an elf achieves the Ar-class, they get to help decide on these matters in all the categories that they hold an Ar-class in.

The 7 categories of different ranks are PvP, Breeding, Materials, Building, Money, Food and a Service category, which is rewarded for extensive helpfulness towards other High-Elves, Allies, Recruits, Noobs or to the Kingdom in general.

Each category of ranks also has a leader, a chief of the category. The chief of any given category gets chosen by all the High-Elves that have achieved the Ar-class of that category, through a vote. But an elf can only be the chief of one category at the same time.

The different classes of the 7 categories are:

Rank Categories: PvP Classes Breeding Classes Materials Classes Build Classes Money Classes Food Classes Service Classes
Lesser Ranks: Nurohtar Nullamnostar Nurhostar Nursamno Nurharwer Nurmaksar Nursámo
High Ranks: Tarohtar Tallamnostar Tarhostar Tarsamno Tarharwer Tarmaksar Tarsámo
Noble Ranks: Arohtar Allamnostar Arahostar Arasamno Araharwer Armaksar Arsámo
Quenya base-word for the categories: Ohtar Lamnostar Hostar Samno Harwer Maksar Sámo
English Translations: Warrior Breeder Collector Builder Treasurer Cook/Chef Helper
Category Chiefs: Turohtar Tullamnostar Turhostar Turcarer Turharwer Turmaksar Tursámo
English Translations: Master Warrior Master Breeder Master Collector Chief Architect Chief Treasurer Master Chef Chief Helper

Aside from the 7 categories, the Order of the Tareldar also has 3 other Ranks, the main ranks of the Order, the hardest ones to get, and the most prestigious awards a High-Elf can earn. The ranks of the Star of the High-Elves! They are:

  • Elen Tareldaro, Star of the High-Elves.
  • Tarelen Tareldaro, High Star of the High-Elves.
  • Arelen Tareldaro, Noble Star of the High-Elves.

In order to get the 1st Star, so to speak, an elf has to achieve 7 classes among the 21 classes of the 7 categories. They can either get the Nur-classes of all the 7 categories, or they can get for example 5 Nur-classes, 1 Tar-class and 1 Ar-class, or they can get for example 4 Nur-classes and 3 Tar-classes. It is totally up to each elf to decide how to do it, and there are many combinations. Just so long as they get 7 classes, they can get the 1st Star.

In order to get the 2nd Star, an elf has to achieve another 5 classes, on top of the 7 they needed for the 1st Star. Again, the combination at which to do this is up to the individual. So long as they end up with a minimum of a combined 12 classes.

In order to get the 3rd Star, an elf has to achieve another 3 classes on top of the 12 classes they needed for the 1st and 2nd Stars. Which would land them at a total of 15 classes, out of 21, to get the 3rd Star.

The math in this system is set up so that an elf could choose to completely skip 2 of the categories in order to get the 3rd Star, or to get all Nur- and Tar-classes and only 1 Ar-class in order to get the 3rd Star. It is very customizable and it is completely up to the individual how to go about this challenge.

The 7 Categories

In order to be awarded any Order of the Tareldar classes, an elf has to earn it. There are a lot of things an elf can do to do this, a description of which will be listed below, one category of classes at a time. They are mostly related to helping the Kingdom or its members in one way or another.

PvP Classes

The PvP classes are awarded to High-Elves that are either very good at PvP, melee or archery, or elves that have been very reliable to show up and participate in various PvP-focused events, like wars or defenses. Here follows a list of things that get you scores in this category (these are not all possible things that get you scores, just a base to give you an idea):

  • Helping to train other High-Elves in PvP. (this gives a lot of scores)
  • Winning different PvP-events.
  • Participating in the Kingdom's Fighting-events, like the hunt for the Troll Chief and so on...
  • Defending Noobs from Noob-killers.
  • Defending other High-Elves, Recruits, Allies or other players that are important to the Kingdom.
  • Helping in Seiges and Wars, be it in the Kingdom or as mercenaries in our Allies' army.
  • Defending Kingdom Builds in seiges (this gives the most scores)
  • Or if you are proven to be a very good fighter.
Breeding Classes

The Breeding classes are awarded to High-Elves that produce very good ridable mounts for the Kingdom or for our citizen. It can be any animal, as long as it is ridable and has good stats. Only above average mounts gets you scores in this category. It does not matter if you bred the mount yourself or if you got it from the wild, as long as its stats are good. You can sell your mounts to other high-elves, or you can give them. You could even sell them to our allies, but High-Elves take priority. Having many great mounts ready in case the Kingdom needs them also gives you scores in this category.

Materials Classes

The Materials classes are awarded to High-Elves that have a lot of materials, be they for building, breeding, farming or what ever. And more specifically, they are awarded to High-Elves that contribute a lot of these materials to Kingdom Builds. Miners, wood-choppers and traders for example are often people that have a lot of materials. Anything an elf can contribute to any Kingdom Builds, as far as materials go, earns them scores in this category.

Build Classes

The Build classes are awarded to High-Elves that are either very good at building or are always very helpful in building. Helping to build Kingdom Builds of course gets you the most scores in this category. Here follows a list of things that get you scores in this category (these are not all possible things that get you scores, just a base to give you an idea):

  • Being a great architect.
  • Helping other High-Elves design and/or build their builds for free.
  • Helping to build Kingdom Builds (this gives the most scores)
  • Always being very helpful in building matters.
Money Classes

The Money classes are awarded to High-Elves that contribute a lot of wealth to the Kingdom. Here follows a list of things that get you scores in this category (these are not all possible things that get you scores, just a base to give you an idea):

  • Be very Rich, have a lot of valuables (simply having it doesn't give a lot of scores)
  • Generate a lot of money for the Kingdom
  • Donate valuables and money to the Kingdom (this gives the most scores)
  • Help other High-Elves in need to money, like, buying materials for elves or what ever
Food Classes

The Food classes are awarded to High-Elves that have a lot of food and contribute a lot to the Kingdom. Here follows a list of things that get you scores in this category (these are not all possible things that get you scores, just a base to give you an idea):

  • Farming crops from fields
  • Farming fruits from trees
  • Farming meats from animals
  • Fishing
  • Cooking all the ingredients into edible foods
  • Providing food for noobs, recruits, other High-Elves or allies
  • Contributing a lot of food to the Kingdom (this gives the most scores)
Service Classes

The Service classes are awarded to High-Elves that basically are very helpful. Here follows a list of things that get you scores in this category (these are not all possible things that get you scores, just a base to give you an idea):

  • Escourting noobs or recruits to where they want to go
  • Helping noobs, recruits, allies or High-Elves with what ever they need help with.
  • Being helpful to High-Elves and the Kingdom in the areas of the other 6 categories and in general
  • Participating in Kingdom affairs

MBS, the Monthly Build Shuffle

Each month, it is expected that every High Elf, no matter what rank, will invest some of his or her time in a High-Elven Kingdom WayPoint Build, by either providing at LEAST three stacks of materials as specified by the Lord of the build, or by assisting in the construction of a build via terraforming terrain, constructing walls, building or decorating houses, etc (ofc also directed by the build Lord). Every High-Elf has the entire month do complete their task, but there is also a special building-weekend during the month. Participate in this to build together with the whole faction, have fun, and show your dedication! (dedication is rewarded in the High-Elves). The special building-weekend is held 2 weeks after the Mallorn Party and it lasts the entire weekend, log in when ever and participate with your faction-mates.

To aid in this endeavour, there is a special chat channel on discord containing the following information:

  1. The Lord of the build of the month MUST send in a list of things to do in his or her build. This includes materials needed (in specific amounts if possible), terrain that needs shaping, and buildings that need construction (if schematics are to be used, send them and instructions for how to place them in-world).
  2. During the month, ALL players are required to either post a single screenshot of the materials they have collected for donation( donate at Mithlond’s Storage Hall), or two screenshots showing the beginning and end of their work inside the city. [ANYONE who spams this chat with rubbish will be kicked from the HE discord for a week. Repeating offenders will be banished permanently. We need to see who posts what in this chat. Spam gives us Lords and Ladies of the High-Elves headaches, so please restrain yourselves.]

Each High-Elven city that meets the following requirements will be given a place in the Monthly Build Shuffle, or the MBS, which will determine the city that will receive aid that month.

Requirements:

  1. The city is Ruled by an active Lord/Lady of the faction.
  2. The city is by a waypoint.
  3. The city is a manageable size. No building 1000x1000 block cities.
  4. The build has a fully structured banner protection system that allows elves of our faction to work on the city effortlessly without running into overlapping banners. (Space your banners out properly like squares on a grid please!)

The MBS is the name of this discord channel and is operated by a mechanism LibertyMom has built in South Mithlond, which operates under the following simple rules:

  1. A simple dispenser with the names of eligible cities.
  2. At the start of every new cycle, we have a small ceremony for the initiation of the new MBS Month in Old Mithlond, where we will dispense the cities’ names from the randomiser until there are no more cities in the dispenser. We have the option of having a small pvp contest after the ceremony as well.
  3. We will work through the cities 1 Month at a time until we have no more cities and another MBS cycle must start anew in Old Mithlond.
  4. There will be no more than 3 cities in the MBS at any one time.
  5. We will rotate through the names of the cities in the dispenser until a city has been completed, opening up a space for a new city to be built.
  6. Older/fully designed/mostly completed builds will be given preference over newer, half baked, starting from scratch cities.

Every city is to have a well organised banner system that will allow the Lord of the build to permit those he or she deems trustworthy to access their city to aid in building. This must include all of the Armáhani and Tarmáhani. If you have a valid reason why you do not trust a specific player, then you may omit that person from access to your build. Recruits cannot, _under ANY circumstances_, be allowed access to a waypoint build for construction purposes. They are ONLY permitted to supply materials.

Living and working in one of our glorious cities is a privilege to be earned, not a right to be squandered.

ATTENTION ALL HIGH-ELVES!

We High-Elves have been offered Swanfleet in exchange for building Caras Galadhon. Work has begun, and we need terraformers and builders right away. Either High-Elves or Elves of Lóriën.

Here is the link to the plans and inspirational pictures: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0Bw7bE8Q-JdvUfnpmaEJ4OGNhd2Y2dmFHdGc1d01zYTlMMEpwWmFmeHF1TU9QbXJkSkF0dkU&usp=sharing

Any griefing and such will result in a permanent ban from the server of course.

Attention all High-Elves!

The Council of the High-Elves has created a new Law.

In our faction dual citizenships are only allowed if the council has given their OK for it, and that is very rarely indeed. But now there's a new law regulating it even a bit further:

"§13.2 If any High-Elf has dual-citizenship, as one of the previously mentioned exceptions, they can only advance in the ranks of one of the factions they're in. Meaning, if they are Nurmahan or higher in our faction, they cannot advance in ranks in any other faction. And the same way the other way around. If they are, for example, some type of Lord in another faction (have advanced in their ranks), they cannot be or become Nurmahan or higher rank in our faction."

Choosing your heritage!

You as an elf are free to choose your own heritage :). Except you are not allowed to claim kinship to the well know elven characters of the Lord of the Rings and such, nor to claim that you in fact "are" one of them. Here on the Server we make our own History!

Here is some help along the way, with general descriptions of the different elves, a useful link to a video about Tolkien's elves & at the bottom of the page( in the Gallery) you can find pictures of most of these different types of elves:

Video Introduction To Elves:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=diHQfgCyLYc

General description of Elves:

Elves in general are described as the most fair creatures of Middle-Earth. They all have relatively pale( fair) skin, except for the Avari. Elves have pointed ears, are generally tall (about 6 feet (182,88 cm)) and had keener senses than Men. They were slender, graceful yet strong and were resistant to extremes of nature, illness and disease. Elves love the beauty of nature, especially water, the Sea and the stars, since they were the first things they saw. Elves are also more agile than men, but not necessarily stronger.

Male elves do not have beards (some exceptions exist, read further down under ""Cycles of life" and aging") and female elves are kind of like male elves, with broad shoulders and fairly flat chests. Hair color varies between "races", but note that not one single elf ever had completely black hair.

Vanyar:

The Vanyar only came back to Middle-Earth in the War of Wrath, but some may have stayed or had children in middle-earth? And some did have children with Noldorin elves before they came to middle-earth at the beginning of the frst age.

The Vanyar were the tallest of the elves, they had blonde hair and they had very pale skin, hence their name, the "fair-elves". They are also some times called the "spear-elves" because of their preferance for spears, as opposed to the sword and shield of the Noldor or the bow and arrow of the Teleri. They love poetry, peace and harmony and they are known for their wisdom. The Vanyar have grey eyes. Their habitat is usually mountains.

Noldor:

The Noldor came back to Middle-Earth at the beginning of the first age, nearly all high-elves upon Middle-Earth were Noldor, or at least had some Noldo blood in their veins. Noldo means knowledgeable in Quenya, their language. They are also some times called the "deep-elves", refering to their deep knowledge.

They mostly have very dark brown hair or in VERY rare cases red hair. Noldorin elves mostly have grey eyes. They are slightly shorter than the Vanyar. They have a great love of knowledge and crafts, one could even say they have a hunger for knowledge. Their prefered weapons are the sword and shield. The Noldor were also more fond of living in and building big cities than the other elves.

Teleri:

The Telerin elves were the most numerous of the elves and therefore made more variations possible. The Teleri split into various sub-groups. Teler means Hindmost in Quenya and refers to them being last on the great journey because of their huge numbers. Another name was also Lindar, the singers, refering to their love of music and fair voices.

Telerin elves are a little shorter than the Noldor. Their hair color is mostly brown( many shades of brown exist, some so light that they almost seemed blonde) although their "royal" bloodlines and perhaps some other individuals could have silver hair. They mostly had grey or brown eyes, although in some very rare cases (like Olwë), Telerin elves could have blue eyes. They love water, simplicity, and the color green. They are the least likely to seek or desire power. While the Noldor built great cities, the Teleri lived in simple dwellings such as the 'flets' of Doriath and Lothlorien. The Teleri have a strong connection to nature and its cycles and have far less interest in the Valar than the Noldor and Vanyar, preferring the company of their own people and other Elven cultures. The Teleri value silver more than gold and have a love for pearls, boats and shorebirds such as swans. The Teleri mostly used bow and arrow in battle.

Falmari, sub-group of the Teleri:

Most of the Teleri of the great journey left for Valinor after their king Elwë went missing, these elves took his brother Olwë as king, and these elves are the Falmari, the "sea-elves". It is quite possible for a high-elf of Middle-Earth to have some Falmarin blood, as the Falmari and the Noldor were great friends before the kinslaying and many of them had children. Although, not much of this blood would have been left among the elves of middle-earth in the third age.

The Falmari were slightly taller than the other Telerin elves as they lived within sight of the light of Valinor, and much wiser. They were mostly known for their pearls, music and swan-ships. These elves live by the sea. Hair and eye color are mostly those common among the Teleri.

Sindar, sub-group of the Teleri:

Most of the elves of Beleriand were Sindar, "grey-elves". They mostly stayed in Lindon after Beleriand sunk, but some who hated the Noldor moved east, to Mirkwood and Lóriën.

They became the fairest and most wise and skillful of the elves of Middle-earth under the rule of Thingol and Melian the Maia in Doriath, and they are therefore sometimes referred to as "Elves of the Twilight" being neither true dark-elves nor light-elves.

The Sindar lived in Cave-dwellings in the wooded hills or in coastal Havens, they were acknowledged Craftsmen although no match for the Noldor. They were great Singers as were all of the Teleri and valued hunters. Hair and eye color are mostly those common among the Teleri. The Falathrim( "shore-elves", sub-group of the Sindar) were prized for their Shipbuilding skills and prowess as Mariners. The Sindar often used axes and bows in battle.

Silvan, sub-group of the Teleri:

Most elves of Middle-Earth in the third age were Silvan elves( "Wood-elves"). They were the forest-dwelling elves of Middle-Earth. In the late Third Age, the Silvan Elves mostly belonged either to the Galadhrim or to the Elves of Mirkwood. The Silvan Elves were descendants of the Nandor (and thus in origin Teleri), who had lingered in the Anduin Vales during the Great Journey of the Eldar in the Elder Days. The Silvan Elves hid themselves in their woodland realms beyond the Misty Mountains and became a scattered folk hardly distinguishable from Avari( those elves who refused the summons of the Valar). While some of the Nandor continued to Eriador and later entered Ossiriand( these were the Laiquendi, the "green-elves"), some remained in the Vales of Anduin, and from these latter originated the Wood-elves.

It is also told that some of the western Avari, dwelling in Eriador and the Anduin Vales, were friendly to the Eldar, and came to merge with the Wood-elves. These were Nelyarin Avari (Penni), from the third Clan (and therefore remotely akin to the Nandor and Sindar). When Beleriand sunk, many Sindar who didn't like the Noldor came to the homes of the Silvan (Mirkwood and Lóriën) and merged with them. Then about 1500 years later when Eregion fell, Noldor refugees came to Lóriën and merged with the Silvan elves there, making the Silvan elves a very mixed race.

The Silvan Elves of Mirkwood are described as distrustful of Dwarves, but friendly to Men. Hair and eye color are mostly those common among the Teleri, but they often had dark or grey eyes. Those of Sindarin descend more often had a rather pale white skin-tone while those of Avarin descend often showed lavender or olive complexion. The wood-elves lived inside the dense forest Lands, most were Hunters and Gatherers but many have also had become planters and the gardens and vinyards of the Wood-Elf realms were legendary. They were also skilled Crafters, they were fabled Weavers, Fletchers as well as Wood- and leather-workers for the Wood-elves were the only Folk who knew the secret of Oak-leather-making.

The Elven life cycle:

Early life:

Elves are born about one year from their conception. The day of their conception is celebrated, not the actual birthday itself—since for them, life begins at conception. Their minds develop quicker than their bodies; by their first year, they can speak, walk and even dance, and their quicker onset of mental maturity makes young Elves seem older than they actually are. Their bodies mature until they are at the maturity of a 25-year-old human, at which point their bodies stop changing. Physical puberty comes in around their fiftieth to one hundredth year (by age fifty they reach their adult height), and by their first hundred years of life outside the womb all Elves are fully grown.

Elves' bodies develop slower than those of Men from the start. In their twenties, they might still appear physically seven years old, whereas Men at the same age are physically mature.

Sexuality, marriage and parenthood:

Elves marry freely and for love early in life. Monogamy is practiced and adultery is unthinkable; they only marry once. Spouses can choose each other long before they are married and be betrothed. The betrothal is subject to parental approval unless the parties are of age and intend to marry soon, at which point the betrothal is announced at a meeting of the two houses, during which the couple exchange rings (silver). The betrothal lasts at least a year, and is revocable by the return of the rings (but is rarely broken). After their formal betrothal, the couple appoints a time for the wedding when at least a year has passed.

Marriage is celebrated at a feast of the two houses. The spouses return their betrothal rings and receive others( golden ones) worn on their index fingers. The bride’s mother gives the groom a jewel to be worn, but the marriage is only achieved with its consummation. Technically, only the words exchanged by the bride and groom (including the speaking of the name of Eru) and the consummation are required for marriage.

For an elf, there is nothing "sexier" than beautiful hair. Thats why all the elves in the movies have such gorgeous hair. This is also why an elf spends alot of time "making their hair pretty".

The Elves view the sexual act as extremely special and intimate, for it leads to the conception and birth of children. Extra-marital and premarital sex are unthinkable—indeed, the Elves would regard them as contradictions in terms. Because adultery is also unheard of and fidelity between spouses is absolute, spouses can sometimes live separately for extended periods of time. However, a sundering during pregnancy or during the early years of parenthood (caused by war, for example) is so grievous to the couple that they prefer to have children in peaceful times.

Elves have few children, as a rule; and there are relatively sizable intervals between each child. They are soon preoccupied with other pleasures; their libido wanes and they focus their interests elsewhere, such as the arts. Nonetheless, they take great delight in the union of love, and they cherish the days of bearing and raising children as the happiest times of their lives.

Daily life:

The Elves preoccupy themselves with various things, such as smithwork, sculpture, music, and other arts. Males and females can do almost everything equally; however, the females often specialize in the arts of healing while the men go to war. This is because the Elves believe that taking life interferes with the ability to preserve life. However, Elves do not have rigid gender roles; females can defend themselves at need as well as males, and many males are skilled healers as well, such as Elrond.

"Cycles of life" and aging:

Elves had no beards, at least until their "third cycle of life", like Círdan. Mahtan, father of the wife of Fëanor, was an exception, and had a beard in his early "second cycle". The Elvish beardlessness could also be observed in Mannish lines with an Elvish strain (as in the princely house of Dol Amroth), which lacked beards.

It is unclear what these cycles exactly are. A logical sense would be that the first cycle is childhood and adolescence, the second is adulthood, and the third is for extremely old Elves; Círdan was the most ancient known Elf in Middle-earth.

Apparently, beards were the only sign of further natural physical aging beyond maturity.

Elves did not physically age over their 100th year but they did age in a different sense than Men: they became ever more weary of the world and burdened by its sorrows, sometimes they appeared to age under great stress. Círdan seemed to be aged himself, since he is described as looking old, save for the stars in his eyes; this may be due to all the sorrows he had seen and lived through since the First Age. Also, the people of Nargothrond had trouble recognizing Gwindor after his time as a prisoner of Morgoth.

FAQ

FAQ, frequently asked questions:

  • What is the difference between Alignment and Faction?
    • Alignment is used to describe how well liked you are by a mod faction, such as High Elves or Gundabad, designated by a + or - with a value, and determines if they attack you or restrict crafting tables.
    • Faction describes like-minded groups of players who identify with one or more alignments, such as the Kingdom of the High Elves (aligned with the High Elf faction), the Grey Cloaks (a Ranger-aligned faction), or the dwarvenlords' council (aligned with Durin’s Folk and Blue Mountain Dwarves factions).
  • I like going to war. Do the High Elves do that a lot?
    • The High Elves do not go to war a lot, as most of the conflicts are internal civil wars within various other factions. We have the means to raise an army of troops very quickly. When the need comes to defend ourselves or our allies, we will march to war. Those who wish to join in other conflicts on a more regular basis may do so as mercenaries. But the High Elves dont focus on war.
  • Who owns my builds in Elf territory?
    • Players own the builds they have made until they abandon, sell or give them away to another high elf. You must receive permission from another player to build near their location.
    • If you open your build to others and later wish to sell or remove it, please be considerate and give kingdom residents and leadership time to pack up or make other arrangements.
    • If you have made your build an Official Kingdom Build, it is no longer your build, in this case it is owned by the Kingdom. To make sure that the build is always taken care of and always stays in the High-Elven Kingdom.
  • I keep getting raided. What can I do?
    • Some players will ignore rules not to steal from player chests, kill livestock/npcs, or grief builds. Until they are banned for this behavior, your best defenses are walls and banner protection.
    • Place faction banners on blocks of bronze, silver, or gold to create a zone where players cannot break or place blocks, or open chests. We recommend setting the protection to your name and your trusted friends only.
    • Place a banner-protected wall around your build to keep players from killing your livestock and npc troops.
    • These walls should be 11 blocks tall, as some Horses can jump up to 10 blocks high. And they should have some form of "overhang", something that "sticks outs" from the wall, usually at the top. This will stop spiders from being able to enter your build. Spiders can climb straight walls.
  • I like to kill other players. Do High Elves do that a lot?
    • We have a strict rule that elves do not kill elves. As an extension of this rule, we do not kill any of The Free Peoples, our allies. And we strive to treat all players with respect, no matter the faction. You may, of course, attack NPC orcs and defend yourself if attacked first, but we do not deliberately seek out the death of other players unless we are at war with them.
    • Killing new players is strictly forbidden, as to give them time to learn the ways of the server.
    • You are not forbidden from attacking other Evil players, as they may attack you as well, but hunting players specifically is not something we like to do.
    • Be warned, if you attack other players way too much, you will gain the attention of admins who frown upon that.
  • What are the faction’s goals?
    • We dedicate ourselves to developing a strong elf kingdom by building cities for us to live in and others to visit, trade points for us to do business at, armies that we may help defend the Free Peoples, and alliances to strengthen our friendships with others. And most of all, we love eachothers' company and our community. We like to have fun together while striving for these goals.
  • What kind of players are you looking for?
    • We are looking for players who want to help grow an elf community and make great builds. People who are more interested in lore/culture than power. People who are patient, friendly and mature.
    • We are looking for people that will adopt this way of life: "Empty your days of the search for security; fill them with a passion for service. Empty your hours of the ambition for recognition; fill them with the aspiration for achievement. Empty your moments of the need for entertainment; fill them with the quest for creativity."
  • What do you value? What state of mind should i aspire to possess? & How do you view the world?
    • These questions are all very philosophical and idealistic in nature and they can all be answered with the national quote of the High-Elves:
If you are wise, you will forget yourself into greatness.

There is only opportunity."
Empty your days of the search for security; fill them with a passion for service.

Lose yourself into immortality.
  • How do I join the High Elves?
    • The basic requirement to join is +100 alignment with the High Elf faction, but it is not a complete necessity.
    • Then we want to get to know you, how you play, what you build, and if we share the same goals. This can take quite a while, but if you are not willing to wait for it, you shouldn't even be asking to join. We reserve the right to deny anyone who we think doesn't meet our requirements.
    • Once accepted though, you may choose a place to live and build and be your own lord or lady, or you can join a current city and follow another lord/lady, which is prefered to be honest, as we already have so many cities.
  • I joined the faction and I want to help out. What can I do?
    • One of our duties is to help new players to the server, by giving advice, encouragement, go adventuring with them, and teach what it means to be part of the High Elves.
    • You can help a Lord/Lady with their build, or build something that you feel the community or even the whole server needs.
    • Go adventuring. Middle Earth is wide and full of danger and treasure, and there are many who would enjoy your company and help.
    • Go mining/farming/crafting. Builds need wood and stone. Players need gear and food. Stockpile what you don’t need and trade with others for things you or your city needs.
    • Put on events for other members, such as contests, races, duels, and entertainment.
  • I want to be a Lord/Lady of the High Elves. How can I become that?
    • A player can be a lord or lady of their own build, or lord/lady over those who live in their build with them.
    • Higher and Lesser Lord is a title given to trusted and helpful members of the faction. They deal with matters of recruitment, local issues, and protection of players and builds within a designated region.
    • A select few High Elves who demonstrate long service with the faction, and also show all of the good qualities of leadership, are invited into the Council to help and advise the King in matters of disputes, recruitment, faction relations, and war.
  • What are the benefits of being part of the High Elven Kingdom?
    • Joining like-minded players who love High Elf history and culture.
    • Having access to more news of the faction and the server.
    • Friends to come to your aid when threatened or in need.
    • Permission to live within Kingdom builds and cities.
    • Access to kingdom events and facilities.
    • Access to the vast Community that is the High-Elven Kingdom.
    • Access to the High-Elven Private server.
    • Having the best people of the server as your faction-mates.
  • As part of High Elf alignment, do I have to follow Faction leader orders?
    • Having Elf alignment does not automatically make you a part of the faction kingdom, so until you join up, you are on your own.
    • If you wish to join the kingdom, and enjoy the benefits that go with it, you are encouraged to listen to leaders in matters that concern the health of the faction, such as disputes, raids, player behavior. Such orders are expected to be followed within the server rules and Kingdom Laws.
    • Role-playing factions are created to organize players, focus their efforts, and build a friendly, safe community. To that end, our kingdom is organized with one king, a council of players, lords/ladies of cities/areas, and the lords and ladies of builds under them. Leaders are expected to treat all players with respect and in return are given authority to speak for the faction and its members. Members are encouraged to follow this chain of responsibility in matters of the faction and relations between its players.
  • Do you trade with other factions?
    • There is no official trading system among the kingdoms and factions. Players develop their own trade relations with other players.

LOTR- Battle Of The Last Alliance HD

The Elves here are mostly High-Elves, as the Silvan elves of Mirkwood under king Oropher and the Silvan elves of Lóriën under king Amdir were nearly all slain due to to their annoyance at following the supreme command of Gil-galad, thus rushing in prematurely. Never again was such a host of High-Elves seen in Middle-Earth. Last high king of the elves and king of the Ñoldor upon Middle-Earth, Gil-Galad, can bee seen ending the life of an orc at 0:48-0:51 in the video.
